A group of families of MH17 victims request formateur Schippers to place MH17 high on the agenda for the formation talks. the Netherlands newspaper Telegraaf reports on May 24.

Thomas Schansman, speaker of the Werkgroep Waarheidsvinding, sent a letter to Schippers.

The geopolitical interests are high  according to  letter. “We still find inadequate cooperation by states, distorting facts, denial of involvement and retention of crucial information,” said Schansman.

Next of kin ask Schippers for a paragraph in the government agreement, giving top priority to “prosecution of perpetrators without betrayal of victims. In EU context, maximum effort is required to force Russia, Ukraine and America to transfer all relevant data as evidence. The UN Security Council obliges them to do so. ”
