Photos show unusual curved contrails of aircraft likely from SU25’s

Photos published around July 16 2014 in a local vKontakte forum used by Torez inhabitants show various pictures of airplane contrails. Those contrails show some curves which makes it highly unlikely these are caused by passenger aircraft.

After Ukraine Air Force lost many fighter aircraft due to MANPADS they decided to change tactics. They did not operate at low level anymore but approached their target from high altitude.

  1. So another nail in the coffin of the “nobody saw the Buk contrail” arguments. People in the region have seen such contrails, and have learned to associate with rockets and bombs flying towards civilian targets fired from those attack aircraft. The reason why no credible photographs of an actual Buk contrail has turned up so far is probably related to the cloudy weather on that day. A Buk missile flying looks pretty much the same as a military jet from a distance, at least to those observers who are not experts in aerospace technology.

Yes, no evidence of buk contrails therefore means there were buk contrails. It’s all so simple when we start with a conclusion and work backwards
