ICJ public hearing Ukraine proceedings against Russia. MH17 part of it.

At 16 January 2017, Ukraine instituted proceedings against the Russian Federation with regard to alleged violations of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism of 9 December 1999 and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination of 21 December 1965.

The shotdown of MH17 is also blaimed to Russia as shown in this press release of the International Court of Justice.

At February 1 2017 ICJ made public that several public hearings for this proceeding will be held at March 6-9 2017.  The hearings are open to the public and are also live streamed. Details here.

Maybe some yet unknown details  on the shotdown of MH17 are presented by Ukraine durings these hearings.

  1. Public hearings are not legally binding, they can carry on propaganda, without giving any evidence which, unlike court proceedings, what is the point in their conduct? Why does this matter is not addressed in the normal judicial procedure?
The next show with such “arguments” for the formation of public opinion?

  2. The point of a public hearing, my dear paid russian commenter, as opposed to what you call ‘normal judicial procedure’ (hush-hush behind closed doors in other words) – is to make the general public more aware of the extent of Russian involvement in this proxy war.

    • “You call ‘normal judicial procedure’ (hush-hush behind closed doors in other words)”
in other words, an ordinary trial and not secretive. Or you do not know the difference between normal judicial and public hearings? Look Letvinenko case, there also a lot of propaganda, nor any evidence, and in the end the farce called “public hearings”

If there will not be lawyers and prosecutors, this propaganda show, my dear paid european commenter.
